Mihai, if there are some copyright problems, the youtube team will send you a warning. If you don't delete the problem video, after three warnings your account is suspended. The idea is that you have time to react and explain them. On the other hand, like you said, there is less likely that some people interested in spreading their message will protest to you popularizing their words (especially when you give them the credit). You can label your video as "educational".

Hello, everyone,
I plan to start uploading videos on Youtube; I am not a videomaker, so I just intend to use atheist videos, translate them into my native tongue by adding subtitles and repost them on YT. I just finished working on a Bart D. Ehrman’s interview "Biblical Insights into the Problem of Suffering", and I intend to do dr. Andy Thomson’s talks “Why We Believe in Gods” and “Morality: From the Heavens or From Nature?”. I do hope they will have some impact. I am concerned about copyright issues, though.
Dr. Ehrman’s talk video is labeled as “free to download for offline viewing” and it mentions LICENSE: Creative Commons (Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works), so I assume it won’t raise any problem.
Dr. Thomson’s videos make no such mention, they are records made at the American Atheist 2009 convention in Atlanta and are posted on richarddawkinsdotnet Youtube channel.
Needless to say, I’m doing this for educational purposes only, my videos won’t be asking for donations of any kind, proper credit will be given to the authors, as well as links to the original YT videos.
Now, what is your take on that?
I will greatly appreciate any advice.
