im a bit tiered of the whole issue. people can be upset all they want, that doesn't take away the legal right to build a community center+worship building anywhere and for any religion.

oh and to me is seems that pat condel has stepped out of the realm of reason and into the irrationality to the point to bigotry. its really sad because i really liked his videos before.

Just because the myth of creation is believed by many, that does not make it fact. That is just what science books are - books of facts about things that can be proven. One cannot prove that a Judeo-Christian god, or any other god, created our universe, so it should be deleted. Glad to hear the school board made the right decision.

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.
I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone.
