Funny how being on the side with evidence and both valid and sound logical syllogisms helps, huh?

Anyone interested in setting aside a day or two for some Atheist Evangelism? I know of a few secular sites that got over run with those spreading the "good news" and--though entertaining to watch--is becoming quite tiresome.

I have a few ideas as to material, but more are welcome. I think fighting fire with fire (and a little ridicule) would be an interesting opportunity.

I replied to an anonymous question by a theist on my blog on the meaning of being "Godly". I had a fun time with it.

Umm, where?

I saw a video, or a blog post once that listed all the uncomfortable and illogical things that a person must do, according to Jesus' own words, in order to follow him. The list included hating your family, selling all your possessions, etc. I'm pretty sure it was a video. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

I think it's similar in most places that experience the street preacher phenomenon, though. There's usually one dominant religion that gets all noisy, and the others kind of hide and try to avoid persecution.

Well, we've only got one group out there making a lot of noise, the fundigelical Christians. We don't have another religion in the west which gets vocal about their beliefs to anyone within earshot, because no other groups have the numbers to feel secure enough to do so.
