This Windsor Atheists group is for any and all atheists who happen to live in or near Windsor (including anyone interested from Detroit/Michigan). There will be regular meetup announcements, but any member is free to use this group to announce their own events, post their own discussions and comments, etc. This is an 'informal' group, not an 'official' one. All are welcome!

I've been to the Windsor Humanists. I'm personally looking for something a bit less formal, more casual, and more oriented around atheism, free-thought and challenging religious taboos, than around traditional Humanist values. I personally consider myself a '95% Humanist'. It's that other 5% that leaves me dissatisfied. (Nothing against full-on Humanists, though.)
The meetings I'm thinking of would welcome anyone and would be more social, but you don't have to buy into any manifesto or anything like that. Just come as you are, meet like minded people, have interesting conversations, etc. Plus, I'm thinking more like once a week or every other week. I need more face time with people than a monthly meeting provides.
