Yes Joan, we're always told to keep away from moose, so that video was a surprise to say the least. I'm in mid BC & we have moose here, although only seen in the distance if at all.

Oh looks like I got behind here again. I've been so tired this week. I'm trying to catch up on sleep. However, I end up staying up late anyhow.
Tony I love the tadpoles and bat.
Dallas thanks so much for the link to the dolphin article.
Ruth that sign is funny. Thanks.
Appreciate all the wonderful posts. Makes me smile.

Steph, oh my! evolution brought forth this creature? His teeth look like he could take care of a toe or foot or leg, depending on how big he is.

Ruth, great photo of sign to hikers and bikers. I've never lived in such country.

Patricia, I lived in Alaska for two years and could never get close to one ... they were fierce! Their daily trail through the forest was behind our home and when I walked back there they chased me away. Believe me! I trusted them to not treat me gently. I am so glad she had that experience.

Theists, Cargo Cults, and Logic

So tired of religious apologists asking me to show evidence for the non-existence of their particular god. I've asked them how they would go about showing evidence for the non-existence of the dragon in Carl Sagan's garage or Russell's celestial teapot. They assert that the analogy is false, but don't explain how. They use words like 'logic' or 'inference' as if they were magic charms without fully understanding what these words mean. It's not unlike superstitious primitives from a cargo cult…See More
