If the Trans-Pacific Partnership is passed, companies in partner countries will be able to sue the US for unlimited compensation over issues of "unfair" trade restriction in rhino horn, ivory, endangered animals, etc. In other words neither we nor any other signatory country will be able to legally protect wildlife if any one country chooses not to do so, and we will shell out taxpayer dollars to the nasty companies who would have made a profit from peddling such products.
