I'm cross posting from the Portland group since Portland and WA are potentially different people, and both may have interest in Vancouver.

Great meetup in Vancouver today, laid back, fun, informative, lots of great conversation. Next one is planned for the first sat in Jan, which happens to be Jan 1, but may change if it is thought that Jan 1 won't bring many people. If there are preferences for either date, please comment and I'll pass it on to the grand poobahs of the group.

Meetup Description Meet local skeptics, atheists, secular humanists, scientific naturalists and other friends of reason for conversation and friendship! We meet in Vancouver but welcome people from anywhere. Meetings are informal and social. Conversation is spirited and informative. We were meeting at BJ's brewpub on Hayden Island/Jantzen Beach, but several members have mentioned it's too noisy there, so a reservation was made at the Round Table by Westfield mall in Vancouver, for their banquet room, between 2 and 5 pm. Skeptics in the Pub is an outreach program of Center for Inquiry Portland. I'm a seattlite and I'm also part of meetup.com's Seattle atheist group. I wanted to participate in one of their meetings. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend. And to this day, I still haven't attended any of their meetings lol.
