Moral Intuitions Scenario #1

You are standing by a switch which will change the track a train is traveling on. On the track in which the train is heading are four people who do not see the train coming. You can flip the switch to save them, but this would put the train on a track with one person standing on it. You cannot call out to them or save them in any other way - if you do nothing, four people will die, and if you take action, one person will die. What do you do?

What I like about the Vulcans, is I swear I can see their emotions on their faces, they just keep such tight control on them. I would burst a gasket!

Except during pon farr, or if they contract bendaii syndrome. What's funny, is that men go through pon farr very emotionally, and it's the women that keep them in check. from losing thier minds completely.

All Vulcans undergo pon farr, but not all study the discipline of kohlinar. Lizard.

Yep. And pon farr is a mating imperative. It has to be fulfilled. But Vulcans have sex all the rest of the time, and since most are low level telepaths, it strenghtens their bonds to one another. Rock. :)

Wow, you know a lot about Vulcans! I would not have guessed that either. I thought Vulcans were too logical to bother with having sex, and only couldn't avoid it when their biological imperative kicked in. What's the point of pon farr then? I thought it was to make those damned Vulcans revert to their primal instincts so they would get down and dirty, usually being too proper and enlightened for such earthly pleasures. Spock!
