"help us promote Atheist Nexus" seems pretty vague.

What would this involve?
I don't have a good answer for you yet, Andrew but I didn't want you to think i was ignoring you. I will update the description when I do and let you know as well. Ideas are always welcome, here and over on http://getsatisfaction.com/atheistnexus. Thank you for your interest.
Hola :) I'm from Colombia and this is a catholic stronghold...I'm still largely "in the closet" so to speak, but I do my best to promote rational thought if that's what you're asking for.

I thought maybe the post of representative involved more of a "welcoming committee" type of task; you know, being a mediator and mentor to foreign newbies who might not understand the language as a native english speaker or how the nexus site works...make them feel at home and get them to stay.

In any case, if you need a Latinamerican representative, I'm in. :) There are only a handful of us latinos in this site (I'm the only colombian one), having one for each country seems a bit too much to me...
Thank you very much Rosa.
Thank you Daníel and Simon.
I would be absolutely willing to represent South Africa.

I assume my duties would be to create a general awareness of the website and community in my country? I would love to help out!
Thank you very much Marc, we are still in the process of hashing out what reps duties will be, but your idea sounds about right.
Hi.

Happy to help from the UK

Steve
Thank you Steve!
I'm in the UK too... but it looks like that seat's been taken.
Darn.
I'd still like to add you to my list Gav, if you are still interested of course. We aren't completely set to start appointing people just yet.
If you need some one in Croatia I am here

Nathan Young That's true Jonathan Brown.  At one time I was a member of the MRA board when it was more open towards hearing an orthodox Mormon views on things.  Since that time the MRA is now under the stewardship of a new 'religion' the 'Society for Humanistic Mormonism' which is merely another apostate religion.  It will fail just like all other apostate forms of Mormonism have failed including might I add the Mormon "Transhumanist" Association and their kind, and all the front…

Come together one and all

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.
