I can probably moderate, although I have to be flexible with my schedule. There are some evenings, local time (US Pacific time) when I could moderate from about 7pm to 10pm. There are some weekdays (thursdays) when I could moderate for a few hours during the day, in the time period between 6am and 6pm, US Pacific time.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen a moderators' guide, so I don't know what it entails.

As well, is there a current list of tasks that needs volunteers? THe forum topic "tasks" last reply is a year old!

I can offer help with writing stuff (in English): I write well, but slowly.

I can offer moderating help.

I can welcome people to the community.

I can offer a sympathetic "reading ear" to those with emotional problems related to, or stemming from their expressed or private non-beliefs.

I am glad to be part of this group as its objectives are in consonamce with my motives and aspirations in the propagation of atheism ideals to the general public. The group would portray to the world the fact eventhough atheists are anti-religion, they can also contribute positively to the societal issues in terms of humanitarian activities and programmes for the poor and the needy.
