No Ameen I don't believe there is a supernatural group here. Lots of stuff on biology nature and science. Fact is most of us are not supernatural people. Just like the CW's entire lineup(most of all Smallville) I don't watch Supernatural. It always seemed like an incredibly corny show to me. I saw comericals for it when it first came out and said to myself I couldn't possibly follow a show with leads like this. But if you're a fan of the show by all means start a group who knows maybe there are a few fans of the show on the Nexus. Trekkies is still kinda small but it has grown and the members who do post seem very entusiastic about Star Trek.

Yes, Tribbles, I am very excited about the new movie. Previews look great. Been hearing/reading about the possibility of a series, or a movie, based on Kirk & Spock at Star Fleet Academy. Very anxious to see the end result.

I've been hearing rumors like that too. I talk to a couple of trekkies that live in a town near me and they're hoping all the rumors that they've heard are true.

I get the feeling that William Shatner is an atheist (or at least agnostic). -Anyone know?

Has anyone else watched Shatner's Raw Nerve? I rather like it, though there's certainly nothing 'treky' about it.

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.

I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. She even refused to speak with my brother who is a methodist minister. He is a pip, let me tell you! This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
