Claudia- welcome. I think most of us have fantasized about Star Trek characters either to be one of them or to be intimate with one of them.:=) Being a doctor and somewhat emotional, I relate best with Bones.

Hey, did anyone catch the Star Trek captain tribute on Biography?
It's the first time I saw it. If it is an old show, sorry. It was ok- a little boring but cool.

Paul, I agree that there are parallels between Stargate and Star Trek. I think that most all of sci fi shows like the Stargates, BSG, Star Wars, etc. all have taken from the original Star Trek. Even new ones like Warehouse 13 and Eureka have done it. So, though I do love the Stargates and even more than some of the Star Treks(especially Enterpise), I will always give credit to the original.

I like the Stargates but don't love them, especially when I see the parallels to Star Trek. SG1=Next Gen, Atlantis=DS9, Universe=Voyager.

"opinions" not "opinion's." Sorry for the error. (I'm a bit obsessive).
