If you're interested in Fresco and his Venus project you might also want to check out the EOS (European Organisation for Sustainability). It's a European non-profit research organisation based in Sweden but with membership open to non-European citizens too.

Fresco effectively voices what I've always believed myself, particularly with respect to the impossibility of reconciling today's monetary system and profit-based economy with a bright future for humanity. Unfortunately, I don't think the world is ready for such a paradigm shift and I can't realistically see that change any time soon. He is very much ahead of his time.

Hey everyone! I had a chance to spend some time at the Singularity University this past summer at Nasa Ames, it was a thrilling experience, my brother was a teaching fellow there for a time. The idea of the Singularity and human augmentation is fascinating to me, and a lot closer to reality than many would imagine.

"The latest activity is still available on the front page. It took up way too much space on the right side. Hopefully, we can all get used to going there. Or, just use the RSS feed.  What does everyone think?"
