What type of ear piece do you use?

Started by Objection Mar 19, 2010. 0 Replies

I use Sony's MDR-EX500LP ear buds. I tried on some headphones in the $50-$70 range, and the sound wasn't clear enough for me. Also, I'm not so enthusiastic about bass, so I can live without…Continue

whats a good artist to look at for some serious heavy beats, like... true earth shattering stuff, no peaceful intro unless it's short, and last a good long time, not too repedative... i need somethin to motivate me at times and so far the one that comes to mind is hahaha by smf and a song called pingu, pingu starts annoying but switchs into a heavy song, a bit thick too. i just really need some thick heavy music

Roy, I do amatuer gigs sometimes, relatives weddings and such. Just fade from the end of one song to the beginning of the next....guess that could be done with iTunes. Tired of lugging around hundreds of CDs. Might have some pro gigs in the distant future, when my time commitments change.

@danwest

Is your requirement for real life clubbing or just for home mixing?
Comment by danwest on April 18, 2010 at 9:33pm
OK, ordered a laptop from Dell, they had a sale going on, I couldn't resist. Now to research DJ software while I wait for it to arrive.

Researching on-line to answer my own question: I'm finding answers all over the map, some ppl are spending big$$$ on hardware.

This sounds like it might do the job: - Dell Inspiron E1705 17"
. 1.7ghz Dual core
. 2gb ram
. 120gig hd
. Xp sp2

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…

My first funeral as an atheist

Posted by Two Cult Survivor on May 21, 2013 at 11:30am 0 Comments

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.

I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…
