From birth control to blood transfusions, religion has insidious and ill-informed tentacles entwined.

There are pharmacies around the country that refuse to supply the Plan-B emergency contraception pill. The Religious falsely claim that it's an abortion pill and a Sangamon County, Illinois circuit judge bought it hook-line-and-sinker.

From the Illinois State Journal-Register--"A Sangamon County judge on Friday temporarily barred state officials from requiring two pro-life pharmacy owners to dispense emergency contraception.

Sangamon Circuit Judge John Belz granted a temporary restraining order against the state at the request of pharmacy owners Luke Vander Bleek of Morrison and Glenn Kosirog of Wheaton.

Vander Bleek and Kosirog, who operate pharmacies in Morrison, Sycamore, Genoa and Chicago, believe “morning-after pills” can result in what they consider to be abortions..."

Today at the Greyhound bus station I found pamphlets about depression with other material from Watchtower. Religion, it appears, is attempting to claim they have the solution for clinical depression.
