The Regeneration Project and the Interfaith Power and Light campaign [ http://www.theregenerationproject.org/ ] seeks to associate religious values with environmental concerns that are shunned by other Christian evangelicals such as Congressman John Shimkus of Illinois.
The religious views are contradictory to the intent of the Regeneration project. The goal is money. Even if the group is a secular group trying to attract the religious, it's dishonest. Persuading people under false pretenses is not the secular way.
