Think in the future tense

Remember the past, live in the present and imagine the future. Explore ways to create a vision of a preferred future, one in which individuals, communities, and nations can build conditions for good health, support relationships and work toward  a healthy, peaceful Earth.

This is not an esoteric exploration but a personal and creative one.

Plenitude: Common Sense Economic Solution

"Plenitude means the quality or state of being full, completeness, great sufficiency, abundance. It does not mean insatiable or wasteful.
Changing how we spend our time is the key to reducing environmental impact, creating more jobs and giving us all a better life. If we have more time, we can do more things and make more for ourselves. If we are less exhausted and needing to buy less, everything can come into balance."

An in addition, it is a lot more fun!

If You Had A Microgrid, You Wouldn't Be Waiting For The Power Company

"Replace vast, centralized power plants with local clean and renewable energy, whether methane, rooftop solar, or nearby wind, combined with onsite storage from a battery or fuel cell."

Sandy hits, power goes out: The grid needs to wise up

We have seen this coming for a long time and continue doing what we have always been doing, expecting things to turn out differently. That is INSANE!

Urine-powered generator produces six hours of electricity per bathr...

Now we are seeing good efforts. Teenage girls, using urine, produce electricity! All these years the oil, gas, coal and nuclear engineers squelched exploration of new technologies and these pretty young girls won't be squelched.

The issue, at least for me, is not profits, but ways to support entrepreneurial spirit in males and females world-wide and empower people to flourish. There is no reason there is hunger anywhere. This planet has resources that could prevent hunger and homelessness with individuals doing for themselves.

Warring everywhere is idiotic! We have come no farther than predators with notions of rights of dominion.
