Ensign and marie!!! HI! Now, where's Nikkita? Skulking 'round the virtual shadows?

Does anyone have any idea how the Face of Boe came to be? I agree Ensign Rose....we've just sort of repressed it, moved on and taken it for granted. Glad to have ya back! You've seen the End Of Time I presume???? What are your thoughts?

Totally. It's come to the point where we just take for granted that he's the face of Boe.

It makes sense to me, I personally loved when they hinted at it.

Seems logical to me......

Soooo, is Capt. Jack the Face of Boe? It has been suggested. What are your thoughts on this?

I loved watching the marathon of all the DW shows that led up to his death and regeneration. It was fun to hear the funny lines I had missed before or forgotten. In Waters of Mars: "State your name, rank and intention." "The Doctor, Doctor, ffffuuun.."
And I swear The Master called The Doctor Gandalf when he made him a 100 years older!!! I had forgotten all about those funny comments!!!

Even my 10 year old son commented on how they are getting younger. I really think after Smith they need to go back to a much older doctor.....they can work that out. I mean, Doctor Who needs to go on.....and it can't get much younger than Smith.

I always thought the regeneration limit was imposed by the Time Lords, but I'm starting to think there might be a biological component to it. Each Doctor seems younger than the last, except for the seventh. That can be explained by the infection the fifth Doctor died from screwing up the sixth Doctor.

I still want to see Bill Nye as the Doctor.

Spoilers: I'm not even sure what to say to it, the End Of Time. I did not cry, which was a surprise. Maybe I have to watch it again. I love how Martha got Rose's leftovers, what's that all about? I mean, cute couple....love the facial hair on Mickey and love Martha's hair...very cool.

And I doubt the Master is truly gone. We shall seem him again.

I really think the woman is his mom. Perhaps. Glad RTD left that open....

Those Time Lord gowns still look like Padme ;) haha...just being funny. I think I'm in shock. Can't wait to hear everyone's review of the show.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. Hmm....I need to absorb it for a while.
I think I will enjoy the new doctor. But I really am going to miss 10. I'm not upset like I thought I'd be. And I'm a little disappointed that Donna wasn't.....I don't know something more. Then again, she's done her part, been the most important female in the universe before.

Overall, I'm pleased on how the doctor went....just peacefully, alone but for the Ood after having visited everyone he loved.

Did anyone see the special sneak peek of the New DW season? What do you think? I think I'm ready for an older doctor. It looks fascinating, and I'm excited, but it is Doctor Who for the CW. Like Twilight meets Doctor Who. Like Joss Whedon wrote it!! Aack...Maybe I'm just bitter.
Sorry.....
