Blog Under Construction

This blog will still be open for reading, but won't have any further posts until construction is done. If you find any broken links or posts, let me know in a comment, and if the blog won't load, it's likely because I'm working on it. I'll fill you in soon as to what's going on. I'm just trying to improve it, and combine a few things so that everything is in one nice neat little place.

You can follow the page on facebook (The Tardis Page) for any updates or posts, or DW news.

Capaldi's Costume Revealed!

“He's woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord.”  While lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat added: “New Doctor, new era, and of course new clothes. Monsters of the universe, the vacation is over - Capaldi is suited and booted and coming to get you!”

I always thought the regeneration limit was imposed by the Time Lords, but I'm starting to think there might be a biological component to it. Each Doctor seems younger than the last, except for the seventh. That can be explained by the infection the fifth Doctor died from screwing up the sixth Doctor.

I still want to see Bill Nye as the Doctor.

Spoilers: I'm not even sure what to say to it, the End Of Time. I did not cry, which was a surprise. Maybe I have to watch it again. I love how Martha got Rose's leftovers, what's that all about? I mean, cute the facial hair on Mickey and love Martha's hair...very cool.

And I doubt the Master is truly gone. We shall seem him again.

I really think the woman is his mom. Perhaps. Glad RTD left that open....

Those Time Lord gowns still look like Padme ;) haha...just being funny. I think I'm in shock. Can't wait to hear everyone's review of the show.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. Hmm....I need to absorb it for a while.
I think I will enjoy the new doctor. But I really am going to miss 10. I'm not upset like I thought I'd be. And I'm a little disappointed that Donna wasn't.....I don't know something more. Then again, she's done her part, been the most important female in the universe before.

Overall, I'm pleased on how the doctor went....just peacefully, alone but for the Ood after having visited everyone he loved.

Did anyone see the special sneak peek of the New DW season? What do you think? I think I'm ready for an older doctor. It looks fascinating, and I'm excited, but it is Doctor Who for the CW. Like Twilight meets Doctor Who. Like Joss Whedon wrote it!! Aack...Maybe I'm just bitter.

Of course. And I just watched that one again two weeks ago.

I didn't understand the part with Mickey and Martha. Did I miss Mickey coming back from the other universe? If not, how did The Doctor get there?

I suspect if we see The Master again, it will be him from before he was Doctor Yana. I suspect he is stuck inside the time lock.

I see Star Trek and Twilight Zone similarities. And yes! Bill and Ted was a funny as hell knock off of DW. I've always loved that silly little movie! Everyone takes something from someone and makes it their own. I'm off to watch the doctor now. Bitter Sweet.

If we're being honest, I felt that all of the recent specials were lackluster. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm sad to see Tennant go and I'm NOT ready for Matt Smith.

Found it online, just watched it, spent the last 20 minutes crying.
