In Dinosaurs on a spaceship he kills the bad guy (admittedly a really, really bad guy), and then in Mercy he is initially keen to kill bad guy but then has a change of heart. Seems a bit out of…Continue

Soooo, is Capt. Jack the Face of Boe? It has been suggested. What are your thoughts on this?

I loved watching the marathon of all the DW shows that led up to his death and regeneration. It was fun to hear the funny lines I had missed before or forgotten. In Waters of Mars: "State your name, rank and intention." "The Doctor, Doctor, ffffuuun.."
And I swear The Master called The Doctor Gandalf when he made him a 100 years older!!! I had forgotten all about those funny comments!!!

Even my 10 year old son commented on how they are getting younger. I really think after Smith they need to go back to a much older doctor.....they can work that out. I mean, Doctor Who needs to go on.....and it can't get much younger than Smith.

I always thought the regeneration limit was imposed by the Time Lords, but I'm starting to think there might be a biological component to it. Each Doctor seems younger than the last, except for the seventh. That can be explained by the infection the fifth Doctor died from screwing up the sixth Doctor.

I still want to see Bill Nye as the Doctor.

Spoilers: I'm not even sure what to say to it, the End Of Time. I did not cry, which was a surprise. Maybe I have to watch it again. I love how Martha got Rose's leftovers, what's that all about? I mean, cute the facial hair on Mickey and love Martha's hair...very cool.

And I doubt the Master is truly gone. We shall seem him again.

I really think the woman is his mom. Perhaps. Glad RTD left that open....

Those Time Lord gowns still look like Padme ;) haha...just being funny. I think I'm in shock. Can't wait to hear everyone's review of the show.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. Hmm....I need to absorb it for a while.
I think I will enjoy the new doctor. But I really am going to miss 10. I'm not upset like I thought I'd be. And I'm a little disappointed that Donna wasn't.....I don't know something more. Then again, she's done her part, been the most important female in the universe before.

Overall, I'm pleased on how the doctor went....just peacefully, alone but for the Ood after having visited everyone he loved.

Did anyone see the special sneak peek of the New DW season? What do you think? I think I'm ready for an older doctor. It looks fascinating, and I'm excited, but it is Doctor Who for the CW. Like Twilight meets Doctor Who. Like Joss Whedon wrote it!! Aack...Maybe I'm just bitter.

Of course. And I just watched that one again two weeks ago.

I didn't understand the part with Mickey and Martha. Did I miss Mickey coming back from the other universe? If not, how did The Doctor get there?

I suspect if we see The Master again, it will be him from before he was Doctor Yana. I suspect he is stuck inside the time lock.

I see Star Trek and Twilight Zone similarities. And yes! Bill and Ted was a funny as hell knock off of DW. I've always loved that silly little movie! Everyone takes something from someone and makes it their own. I'm off to watch the doctor now. Bitter Sweet.
