Do we live in another country?
When you read all the crap that other members go through in their daily lives in the Bible Belt, do you get the feeling we live in a different country? Like me, is it extremely rare when religion even comes up in daily life? Are we lucky our politicians might only pay lip service to it and that no one is trying to teach creationism or abstinence-only in schools?
Just curious how other local atheists see this.
