If "god" was so powerful, then he wouldn't have to have "plans" for us, he would make things happen, including whether we would have kids. They say he gave one woman a child without even having her have sex, so you would think if he "planned" for you to get married, he would have put a man you couldn't resist in your path and make you want children.

They don't even keep him in character, just keep changing him to suit what they want at the given moment - loving, vengeful, has a plan for us, gives us free will and will punish or reward us based on our choices. Any decent publishing house would reject the bible for its inconsistency if it was written today.
