She was never supposed to be able to conceive due to a medical condition, but apparently that is no longer the case. I am resigned to our collective fate and must welcome this event as a joyful thing. (I will be getting a vasectomy as soon as possible though!) I feel I must resign from being a lurker here because although we are godless, we will no longer be childless.

Comment by Closet Nigerian Atheist on June 30, 2012 at 3:57pm: A colleague of mine dropped of her 7 year old son with me today for about 5 hours because she had to tend to some pressing issues.
To cut long story short, the boy just reminded me of all the reasons why i don't want to have kids. DAMN!! he was all over the place touching whatever he could lay his hands on. I almost lost my mind trying to get him to behave. I felt like kicking him out of the house.
After he left i had to do some cleaning up, because biscuit crumbs were all over my couch.

What a way to ruin a Saturday for me that i would have spent relaxing, watching TV or reading a book.

Sorry for the rant...I had to vent.
