The Childless and Godless

Information

The Childless and Godless

This is a group to discuss the joy of being childless! I am amazed at the number of atheists I have met over the past few years that are childless by choice, here is a place to discuss stories and experiences!

@Herbert... yes indeed, from the outside looking in, removing human bias, any intelligent life form would see that demonstrated in all human endeavour, there are days when I wonder if it's our very capacity for self adulation (intelligence) that is the problem! :)

He may have been banned because I reported him-- I wasn't sure if there was a rule against his trollishness, but I figured I'd rather just alert the moderators and hope they got rid of him than bother actually engaging with him.

"Human beings are the cancer which is spreading fast on earth," a student of mine once wrote a definition.

Surprised he wasn't banned long ago. Isn't it against the rules to get on groups and debate the entire purpose of the group? It's the same as a theist getting on A/N. You don't see me getting on Parenting Little Heathens or Pro-Life Nonbelievers. Because that's their business. "Proving" that someone is a feminist is only based on opinions, but if someone has children (and since he's griped about how women screwed with child support, etc, he does) they are not Childless.

When Googling Atheist Nexus tbyte, one can still access the "cached" version of his home page with his real name, which he used to use. He eventually had joined a couple of other groups, after being accused of only joining groups to troll them. A friend of mine was recently accidentally banned (for real, this person never harmed a fly) and it took them 2 months to have their account reactivated. So keep your eyes open. :)

You can still see his list of discussions.

We had a discussion about defunct accounts such as this and the impact of 'disappearing conversations' on another atheist forum. I see in this case his comments have disappeared, but his discussion 'contributions' have not. I think NING's policy (those who host the A|N website) for deleting members is for administrators to choose to keep their discussions, or not. I don't know if the same rules apply to voluntary departures. I have tried to understand NING policies, but I've given up. On the other group, after a voluntary departure, the discussion items disappeared also.

The troll's comments are also on my discussion as well.  But, I hear that his profile is gone.  I guess they banned him when they noticed he was a troll.  He was only a member of two groups: Feminist Atheists and Childless and godless.

TByte's posts are still in the "Maybe this sounds awful..." thread.  Pity.

The "T" in TByte must stand for "troll."

I'm outta here.
