Doood! I'm in Fort Mill, where you guys practiced, I think. Drop by the Charlotte Atheists and Agnostics group yet? We're growing pretty noticeably lately.

Former Drummer in a much less competitive high school band.

Heh.

Not quite.

Think professional, highly competitive, marching band without woodwinds.

It's art that moves!!

Check it out on youtube.

Ooooh, the Carolina Crown Drug & Muggle Corps. Sounds good. Psychedelic music?

Helloooooooo.

I'm a Euphonium player (non-professional)
Who marched 8 years with the Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps.

I grew up around and in music, and my blood flows to the rhythm of life!

@Jean Marie: Don't let them intimidate you. Just listen. Even if you don't like it, you've exposed yourself to something new. That never hurts. :)

@Ted: So true! There's no one in the world quite like Divine.
Comment by Ted Delorme on September 18, 2009 at 9:17am
Well, Divine would have made a great Oogie Boogie... maybe that's the connection. ^_^

@Ted: Now that I think about it, I believe I am wrong. My memory is faulty at times. I believe Divine has a song called "Jungle Jezebel" in which she is being eaten by cannibals, and the line goes "great googaly moogaly, they're serving me up right." Not sure how I confused that with Nb4Xmas.

And then, in a fit of anger I pounced and I pounced again!

Aw, don't make me feel as old as I am... ^_^ It's a Frank Zappa line; which doesn't mean it wasn't in Nightmare also.
