I would like to be somewhere that they talked about religion a lot. I love to argue! :-D

Hello everyone from awful West TX! I am so glad to find this group because I have really about had it with people always telling me they'll "pray" for me. I'd love to just talk to real people without their religion coming into every conversation.

Hi! Alicia here....I am sure some of you know that I assisted with Organizing the First Annual Texas Freethought Convention Last year in Austin.

We are trying to get the second convention up an running and have run into issues with funding. If you're willing to donate so that we can get the venue and work on getting new speakers please contact me or you can donate directly at: www.TexasFreethoughtConvention.Com

Again if you want to know more just contact me but this is something we are really trying to keep going so it will be a yearly thing and we cannot do that without baby eating heathens just like you! =P

Welcome, Felix. I don't know where you're coming from, but I must warn you, we have a hairdo for a governor. It keeps threatening to cecede from the Union. Want to bet that if Texas becomes a new nation, there won't be any separation of church and state? Hope you know what you're getting yourself into.

College station (A&M student) here. Anyone in this area? I never have time to go to Austin for the ACA meetups....

I was beginning to think "Texas Heathens" was oxymoronic. Even so, it's a euphemism. Why not "Texas Atheists"? Just kidding. OK, for my take on the local megachurch, Bay Area Fellowship, which sends me their literature in the mail unsolicited, go to: http://antichurchmilitant.blogspot.com/
