Anyone been to "The Church" nightclub in Deep Ellum?
I'm in the DFW area visiting my son and his wife. We're planning to check out "The Church" in Dallas. (Me in a church, now that's funny!) I believe that on non-goth nights the club is called "Lizard Lounge". Have any of you Texas Heathens been there? I haven't been to Deep Ellum in 16 or 17 years, is it a safe area these days?

I've never heard of it. I'm 27 now and feel that maybe i'm getting too old for clubs. Am I too old? That said, I've heard Deep Ellum is safe enough if you go with a group and have friends walk you to your car .
