We need to protect our schools from religion. Religion is an outdated concept that threatens many studies in our schools. It is time to step up to the creationists and allow science to flourish uncontrolled by the boundaries and bigotry of religion.

Can anyone tell me about my rights of non-participation in collective worship in the UK. I'm really interested in accessing my rights, however, the information is rather hard to get hold of and i'm not keen on sifting through lots of documents online. Also lots of stuff I find on its seems to be dated or confusing, for example, i'm not sure exactly what type of school my school is and what laws apply to it.
Please help!

I was a high-school teacher for 16 years. I actually object to ALL religion in high schools, including the Pagan aspects of Christmas, Halloween, St. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter. These holidays are not only exclusive of children who are not members of the predominant European culture, but they steal valuable time that could be spent teaching other things. Let Christmas and Easter be celebrated in the church and in the home, not in the school!
