I like near Atlanta now, but was born and reared in Savannah. Went to Calvary High and, for a month or two, Windsor-Forrest. Why don't some of you try to recruit some of your SCAD students to join up, maybe put an ad on the site or newsletter. Artsy people are often freethinkers. Used to skip high school and go flirt with the gus in the SCAD dorms. Also, many gays are atheist and Savannah has a huge gay population. Huury up and form a group so that I can visit ya'll when I visit my family (who preach to me).

I'm so excited to know that this group exists! It has been so tough for me and my family to find atheists friends, everything is about Religion here in the South. When is your next meeting?

Is anyone interested in forming some sort of "atheist service league" in the greater Savannah area? I tried unsuccessfully to do that via Facebook last fall/winter. I wasn't aware of this group as of then and I'd be curious to give it another try.

Hi, I live near DC but get to St Simons once in a while. There sure are a lot of churches there. The place is beautiful but there is nobody to talk to.

I live on Fort Stewart when I'm not in Iraq, like I am now. Been sationed here for eight years and enjoy the area but the 3rd ID stinks.
