If anyone still in school needs help learning physics, I'm your man. I've got a job as a physics tutor, but I'm willing to offer my services to the group free of charge. ;)

I trade shares on the ASX for a living. One of my hobbies is worm farming. I'm happy to share. :)

I'm currently an animation student who does a lot of side work doing logo design. I also design and build mascot costumes having worked several years for Disney (does that count as a cult?) as an Entertainer and Sr props and puppet master. if anybody needs anything, I'm always up for a challenge.

I'm a wood carver and a former high school biology teacher - so I can help with either one. I'm also a half assed cartoonist. (three are on my page)

I am a managing editor of a science journal. I know grammar, spelling, punctuation of the English language. Glad to help here if anyone needs it.

I'd like to know how to add short links here. When I try to add a link I only see a way to add the whole url, not a shortened one. I see others have done that though, and I'd like someone to tell me how to do it, please.

I am a field service engineer with 30 years experience, most of it in the semiconductor industry. I am highly skilled at systems-level troubleshooting, though I can still dig down to the component level when the need arises.

I know my way around most Windows operating systems and the Office suite. I'm also very conversant with DEC's RSX11-M, VAX/VMS and Sun Microsystems' Solaris. And like most troubleshooters, I know "this and that," having picked it all up over the past three decades. Ya got a question? Ask ... and I'll take my best shot ... and if I DON'T know, I'll say so.

25+ years in the paint and body, collision/restoration industry. I'd be happy to give advise and maybe personal help if location permits.

Also, I'm new in the Real Estate business. You all may not know this but, many hire Agents based on god belief - most do this through the tact of assimilation (i.e. companies mission statement mentioning god as foundation).

Fortunately I found a company that's very inclusive, and If you're in the market for a new home or property, please consider me as your Agent.

I'm knowledgable in the area of parrots. I have 10 from the largest parrot of them all, a Hyacinth macaw (the parrot featured in the movie Rio), to the standard pet store fare. It would be my pleasure to educate and possibly find you a companion parrot if it's your hearts desire.

Death of a family member

Posted by Larry Taylor on May 20, 2013 at 8:15pm 4 Comments

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. She even refused to speak with my brother who is a methodist minister. He is a pip, let me tell you! I suspect she did not believe, but a woman born in her time could not and did not state her actual beliefs. This is the opening salvo to all christians; FUCK YOU! I had so many people come and tell…

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.

I work in a psychiatric hospital. The doctors who admit patients are general MDs. (Psychiatrists see patients after admission) Yesterday evening we received several calls from irate parents. A new doctor who was doing admissions yesterday actually…

anti-atheist rant from an Orthodox Mormon part 2

What do you think of this,

Nathan Young,

No Jason Torpy it is you that should be banned for promoting atheism, a belief that has no foundation in reality and zero proof behind it.  The letter was a mockery of your atheist beliefs.  I request to the board here that they remove Jason for his unverifiable beliefs in atheism for which he has no proof other than his arrogance.  The letter was a mockery of atheism.  Atheism is stupid and it should be mocked and it…

Anti-atheist post from an Orthdox Mormon

What do you think of this Facebook comment?

Nathan Young to Jason Torpy,

for once you and I can agree on something.  We should disrespect beliefs that are untenable such as the belief that there is no God.  Indeed for me to respect you Jason, I cannot respect your belief in non-belief in atheism.  Your atheism comes across as arrogrance, smugness, and self righteous.  Indeed after reading "An Open Letter to My Religious Friends" I penned one…
