I'm looking to get an interchangeable set of circular needles. The advice I get is often contradictory... Which is due, of course, to differing opinions. Still, I'll ask here.
I'm leaning toward steel; I like the slip. What material
do you like, what brand do you prefer and why?

Just on here having a quick break..first proper couple of days of springlike weather here in the UK.. should dig out the lighter yarns but got a new spinning wheel for my birthday and OCD has set in.. A discussion might break my addiction.

always always knitting- the weather is warming up here in AZ, but I am working mostly on small, light projects.

Hey, just wanted to say, I'm sorry! I've been locked out of AN for months now because I had something screwy with my username and password! Hope everyone is knitting away and looking forward to SPRING! (Break out the cotton and blend yarn!)

Yes! I'm on ravelry too! I just wanted to start something on here too. Not that it has been that active and I've been so busy with other things! UGH!

I have recently become part of a new crafters club here in my town. We all left the quilt guild because of the cronyism, back stabbing, and general clique-y-ness going on there. Now, I'm disappointed to say this new group is starting to act just like the last. People making decisions about what we're going to do, when we'll do it, and then changing those plans at the last minute without input from the group as a whole.
I'm probably going to leave this group too... I can sew at home with out all the fussing and fighting... geeze. people, get a grip!

"Joan, you mentioned awhile back about liking to eat a nice steak with some red wine.  The Argentinians have a wonderfully simple accompaniment to their steaks:  Chimichurri Sauce It has lots of chopped parsley and garlic!!"

Young Atheists

A group for young atheists, any ages from 0-20 welcome! People love to underestimate young people, especially minors who can't vote, but we are a powerful group...we are not alone.
