Adam Carolla interviews Dr. Bruce, spends the first 20 minutes bashing idiots like Jenny McCarthy, telling her to "shut the fuck up". Good times.

Derek,

I haven't spoken to you since you returned from your near-death stroke experience.

How's the head?

I'm new to this group. Trying to get play catch up with Skepticality, by listening to one of their padcasts a day. Linda

I just happened to be stumbling around on the web while listening to the latest Skepticality podcast, and landed on this page http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/5931345/Beluga-whale-saves-diver.html.

The Bekoff interview was very interesting as he expounded the theory that animals exhibit moral behaviors, including fairness, empathy etc underpinned by a range of on board emotions and buoyed up by high intelligence.

I wonder if this whale behavior was merely instinctual, a memory response, a trained response or something more along the lines the Bekoff Discussed.
