I'm looking for information about when the "miracles" (the resurrection, the virgin birth, etc.) were added to the bible. I've heard several different things. One was that they were added as late as 400 years after the jesus death. I can't remember where I heard that. (hmm....53 and losing my memory already?) :o)
An internet search doesn't do a whole lot, unless I'm not using the right key words.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm not aware of anyone working solely on when the miracles were added. You'd probably have to look at when and how each Gospel was added. There's been a lot of research on the social-political aspects of the individual gospels. Within those they tend to use a wide variety of examples/passages. I don't recall but I'd be surprised if they didn't at least touch on some of the miracles. Not sure how helpful this is but it may give you a place to start. A couple of authors I find interesting to read are Bart Ehrman and Tim Callahan. If you haven't come across them there work might be useful. Even better are Robert M. Price's works. If you haven't read him he is brilliant although somewhat dry.
Thanks so much, I was giving up on this thread!
I will check out these authors!
