The RIT Skeptics Club is a bit defunct this quarter, Nathan. A few key people left last year and no one's stepped in to take their place. There's plenty of Woo in the ROC to combat, it's just not as flashy as taking on religious organizations.

RIT itself pretty post-theist in general, at least in my experience.

Toss me a message if you're interested in chatting, as for the club, some serious work by some freshman may be necessary to revive that.

Is there still a skeptics club at RIT? That's one of the things I was most looking forward to about college: being able to meet up and chat with other non-believers away from my religious family.

Yes, photo major.
You should check out and stop by meeting of RIT Skeptics.

Incidentally, if you knew that, are you at RIT yourself in some way?

Thanks! I did see one such flyer on a wall in one building. I guess I might have to do a lot of walking around then inside all the many buildings at RIT after I get there!

RIT has a lot of posters around campus from people looking for roommates.

Hello guys, know anybody in Rochester who might have a room or apt to rent for a good price? I'm not in Rochester yet, and don't know anybody yet in Rochester. I'm transferring to RIT beginning in spring quarter 2010 (classes start the first Monday in March), and I will be in Rochester after February 12. I will be taking some bridging classes, then I will apply to graduate school (both at RIT). Feel free to pass this information on! If you don't know anybody, thanks anyway!
