Comment by Ben Potterton on November 25, 2012 at 1:01am I MET RICHARD! Can I have some street cred anyone? I'll post pictures shortly, don't trip. Signed Book. In response to my question, he said, ,"I'm not a physicist, but the idea of parallel universes is plausible." You heard it here first folks.
Comment by James M. Martin on November 12, 2012 at 4:54pm @Guitarzeroh. "Richard Dawkins cruelly..." the caption reads at the upper left-hand corner of the embedded video screen. Obviously, no friend of Dawkins captioned the video: in it, Dawkins addresses a deeply deluded Roman Catholic's question along the lines of, "surely even an atheist could not be so cruel as to remove the veil of illusion from the eyes of a genuine, sincere believer." Dawkins appears a bit impatient at worst. Has this person read The God Delusion as much as he's read his Booble? Dawkins is perhaps impatient with all True Believers armed with only dogma, when Dawkins insists that extraordinary claims demand extraordinary proof. Who wouldn't be impatient who understands that belief and dogma must always play second fiddle to reason and science. Even a GOP-appointed federal district judge has found, as fact, that Genesis is myth; evolution, valid. The two are irreconcilable.

That is great news.
Comment by Secular Forces 2013 on November 2, 2012 at 9:35pm RENOWNED atheist Professor Richard Dawkins received a surprise standing ovation in the traditionally Christian community of Stornoway last night, following a two-hour speech in which he said there was probably no God.
The 71-year-old described Islam as “one of the great evils of the world” in his lecture, The God Delusion, as part of a rare visit to the Western Isles.
