There's also Frisco atheists which can be found on Facebook. There are more groups, these are just off the top of my head. You are definitely of alone.

This is not my first "babble belt" state as I have lived in Georgia and NW Florida (hell on earth). NW Florida is proof alone that if there is a god he screwed up really bad! haha

I'm the only out atheist in my department, and out of 75 people in the department, I was chosen as one of the 30 to carry on having a job. I should also mention that I'm deep in the Bible Belt, in Mobile, Alabama. I post this just so you know, being "out" as an atheist isn't necessarily the kiss of death for your job. Sometimes the powers that be can look beyond politics and religion and just pick the person most qualified for the position.
