Think about it, if you did get a bible tattoo when younger, you could underline it and put "THE PREVIOUS STATEMENT IS FALSE" underneath :-D

To Hypnotoad: my boyfriend has long hair and lives in Texas and he has to deal with a lotta shit and he's very masculine.

I wanted to get Phillippians 4:13 tattooed on me when I was younger. SO GLAD I DIDN'T!

@will, I can't say I liked it but it wasn't bad. I guess my taste run on a diff freq, though it could have been deeper if the author added more.

When she read it, it had dialogue in it--one line of which was "there is no god."

Did anyone see Frank Shaeffer on the "Rachel Maddow Show" last night. Brilliant!

I could probably get along well with a Christian like him.

Lived in Louisiana and Mississippi pretty much my whole life. Hoping to either move to the northwest or out of the country someday. Having long hair as a guy and being a biologist may not have been the best choices while staying in the bible belt...

There are alot more of us rationalist than we think, about 16% of the populatoin in the U.S. (as I recall). We need to come out of the wood work and stop our law makers from passing FAITH-BASSED LAWS. Tired of all the damn christians!
