According the the FFRF you don't have to be a GA resident. I was able to vote and I am from NC. They are now saying that they were never going to pre-print the "In God we trust" on them. But I think they are just back tracking because of the backlash. Thanks to those of you who helped.

I don't think that you have to be a GA resident to vote for the plates. According to the FFRF you don't. I voted and it never asked me for any information other than which one I liked best. I would encourage all of you to vote to protect the rights of those who don't believe in any gods who live in GA. All those who do can put a Jesus fish or symbol of whatever gods they like on their car. But others shouldn't be forced to display it.

We just lost that fight here in VA. They now have "In God We Trust" plates, along with the tea-bagging "Don't Tread On Me" plates...

Keep god off of Georgia Licence Plates. Everyone can vote. I'm hoping they pick one that doesn't say god on it. If you want to vote, it's pretty easy. All you have to do is click on the one you like. It doesn't even ask for your name. It's pretty simple.

You're close enough, Eddie. I've been to Central Florida. There's a strip of the interstate headed to Tampa that's wall-to-wall billboards for strip joints and pro-lifers. Strangest combination.

Hello everyone!!  Had to join this group.  Not really located at the heart  of bible belt but its close enough.  Located in central Florida, specifically in the middle of Polk County where a church can be found in every block.
