Are there any Islamic women who are tired of war and killing and destruction and want to have a conversation about living in community, celebrating our differences and encouraging critical thought?

The answer to your question is "yes, but they have their own websites".
Put the name Maryam Namazie into google, and you'll immediately see what I mean. She has several lectures that are visible on Youtube.
However, the fact that they identify as "ex-muslim", however, does not mean that they're lacking in other (extremist) ideological or religious affiliations: Maryam Namazie herself is a member of the Communist party (she identifies herself as such: this is not a "theory" on my part).
