CFI, PortlandThe Center for Inquiry has several monthly events: discussion groups, book club, OMSI Science pub get together. They bring in nationally known speakers (Austin Dacey, Lawrence Krauss, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris), are starting up a critical thinking course, potlucks, picnics, camping events, volunteer work, humanist film festival. They participate in local atheist activism, and sponsor several atheist meetups in the Portland area. Over 150 local events per year! Come join the community - exciting things are happening!
