is coming to Portland!

October 10, 2009
6:30 – 8:00pm
Peter Stott Center
Portland State University

CFI Portland is now taking orders for FREE tickets for Friends of the Center to hear Richard Dawkins' lecture on his new book The Greatest Show on Earth. Friends at the Individual Membership level may claim up to two tickets. Family Membership holders may claim one ticket for each member of their family plus an additional two tickets.

BONUS! – Not only can Friends of CFI Portland reserve tickets ahead of time,
you'll be given seating in a prime section of the hall.

All general admission tickets for the event are free, but they will be released on a first-come, first-served basis the night of the event. We anticipate long lines and a full house - Don't delay and risk getting turned away at the door!

Become a Friend of the Center so you can reserve your tickets today!

Tickets will be available for pick-up at the PSU box office in Smith Hall on Broadway. The box office will have a list of names and ticket quantities. In case you won't be able to pick up your tickets, please provide a mailing address with your ticket request.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be sure to arrive in plenty of time to pick up your tickets! The event starts at 6:30, but Friends of the Center tickets are only valid until 6:15, after which we'll have to release unclaimed tickets to the general public.

Seating is limited.
Please send ticket requests as soon as possible to: or call 971-238-0808.

If you are already a Friend of CFI Portland, thank you! Your support helps make great events like this possible. Email to reserve your tickets. (To check your membership status, contact us at or call 971-238-0808.)

Not a member? Now is the perfect time to join CFI Portland. Not only can you reserve seats for the event with Professor Dawkins, new Friends may also take advantage of a limited-time offer on Free Inquiry and Skeptical Inquirer magazines. Learn more about the offers and sign up on-line here.

Thank you!

We are very happy when we are able to show appreciation for our Friends with privileges such as this. We hope that what ultimately drives our members to support CFI is the work we do on their behalf, acting as a voice for their values here in Portland and beyond. If you haven't yet become a Friend of CFI Portland, please sign up today.

Thanks again – See you at this exciting event!

For more information about the event with Professor Dawkins or other CFI Portland activities, please call 971-238-0808, visit, or email

I'm in.
UPDATE: Email is best, not the phone number.

(the number is our main number which doesn't always forward you to a person who can order tickets. The email is the official route.)
