Too Big To Jail: Wall Street Executives Unlikely To Face Criminal C...
This is a story from last month, but it is an important part of events to be considered when looking to free ourselves from crony-capitalism.
"A last-ditch effort by federal and state law enforcement authorities to hold Wall Street accountable for nearly bringing down the U.S. economy is unlikely to lead to any criminal charges against big bank executives, according to a source close to the investigation."
"penalties for those accused of fraud or other misconduct would be measured in dollars, not jail terms."

Permalink Reply by sk8eycat on September 11, 2012 at 2:31pm It's a pity that we don't have telepathic flying dragons that can swoop in and pick up certain criminals and just drop them somewhen between. (I've been rereading too much Anne McCaffrey this past week. I've had a bellyfull of politics and smarmy lies.)
We have always had a problem with certain people being too rich and powerful to be punished.
