Sen. Inhofe Interviewed by WND regarding his new book "The Greatest Hoax"

Inhofe: God Says Global Warming Is A Hoax
I don't know how many Representatives and Senators we have who believe as Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), however, if this is the quality of reasoning that our government uses to make decision in our nation, we are in deep trouble. He has no idea how serious this problem is, and the work and time it will take and do all we can to prevent consequences before they go out of control; if they haven't already. Because religious want to have so much power and control, one would think they would jump on these changing conditions in a heart-beat.
We need reason, critical thinking. Church people, challenge him! Confront him! We can't afford to play games.

Permalink Reply by Joan Denoo on March 28, 2012 at 7:32pm Can you remember any time silence, or polite talk achieved any great social paradigm shift? The civil rights movement certainly had to make a lot of noise ... and some were in the background looking like Black Panthers. Women's right to vote was another and took a lot of sound and fury. Or how about the struggle of the railroad workers, or miners, or steel mills? They all required more than just a polite request for more money, fewer hours, more benefits.
Well, now it is global warming and all the consequences of that event. I don't think it makes any sense to yell "the sky is falling!" But it surely does no good to say, publicly, in a position of responsibility to the USA, "God says global warming is a hoax!"

Inhofe stated,
“Well actually the Genesis 8:22 that I use in there is that ‘as long as the earth remains there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night.’ My point is, God’s still up there. The arrogance of people to think that we, human beings, would be able to change what He is doing in the climate is to me outrageous.”
