Stupid has no cure! Sadly, Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX), an Ob/Gyn by trade, told his colleagues to, “Watch a sonogram of a 15-week baby, and they have movements that are purposeful”.
Well of course "they have movements that are purposeful". They are alive. That is what alive means. So? A 15-week old fetus masturbate, they also yawn, suck their thumbs, and kick and grab. What has that got to do with a mother and her health team looking at what is and realizes there is a time to make decisions and times to wait. What has a politician to do with that decision process.

Why don't politicians outlaw abortions by coathanger or stick? Or make it illegal to perform an abortion in an unsterile environment? Or press charges against men who impregnate girls and women who are not prepared to carry the load of parenthood? Or what about laws to protect a woman's right not to be a parent?

Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX), an Ob/Gyn by trade, is a foolish, dangerous man to have in society and should be mocked out of office and profession.
