I am in a relationship with a Jewish woman (both ethnically and religiously). When we started dating, she knew that I was an atheist. She did and still believes in a god, but she doesn't talk about it with me. We had been in a relationship for almost a couple of years and it is still going great. We even talked about marriage. The only thing I am worried about it what her family would think about my atheistic views? I told her that I will go to the temple with her whenever she goes. I hear that a lot of Jews don't believe in a god, but she is one exception. I always wonder if any temple focuses more on the culture of Judaism and not so much the existence of a god.

I wasn't raised religious. But, for a three or four year span, I decided to give it an honest try. (Turns out its all BS, by the way. Surprise.)

My wife and met in Church during that time. We've been married for about six years now. We have   young daughters. She is very unhappy that I don't believe and don't participate in church. I am fairly certain that if I told my kids what I thought about church, and made an effort to steer them away, my wife would divorce me. Would my kids be worse with divorced parents, but free thinking, or a dad at home, who for some reason is always silent on sundays?

I became atheist about 5 years into being married. We were not the same religious background to begin with, though, and were not especially devout.

Article on Slate discusses "mixed" marriages between believers and nons.

I didn't see that one. While I agree with you, I think I can overlook the mistake for the sake of brevity.

Yes, there is also a group about "interfaith" relationships, although atheism isn't really a faith.

I think this group could be merged with the "Living with a religious spouse" group, which has more activity.
