Permalink Reply by Annie Thomas on August 22, 2011 at 7:36pm Good advice John D. Sometimes the biggest pressure is to fit in or simply fly under the radar. I have a very outspoken child who doesn't quite understand that not everyone is as OK with her atheism as she is.
I'm glad the teacher in your daughter's case didn't penalize her for being who she is. Of course, the teacher did the right thing, but I think it could have easily been much worse.
