Freethought Families of Chicago
Whew, for a second I thought that there was no secular parenting group on this forum and became a little concerned. If there's anything secular parents need, it's community! Thankfully I found this group!
I just wanted to quickly say hello and let those of you in the Chicagoland area know that the Chicago Freethought Project has set up a meetup group on Facebook for secular parents and freethinking families (http://www.facebook.com/groups/freethoughtfamiliesofchicago/).
For those who'd like to join us for local family-friendly (and freethought-friendly) events or discussions, please visit the link above.
In the meantime, I'm glad to have found you all and look forward to some great tips and advice (we have a 1 year old heathen and need all the advice we can get)!
