Welcome to Parenting Little Heathens

Hi moms and dads. Welcome to the parenting without religion group here at A|N. Please feel free to post an introduction, tell us about yourself or if you'd rather not, just jump right into any discussion.

Before you get started I would like you to be familiar with our Posting Rules and Guidelines. This will help clarify what this group is and what topics are appropriate or inappropriate.

Also, you might be interested in our list of atheist related parenting resources list. This is a work in progress, if you've found something you think is a good fit please post a reply and I'll see about adding it.

Comment by Aaron R on January 5, 2012 at 11:43am: He knows babies grow inside a woman's womb- he's just just figured out that there is some connection to me in his brother's initiation. I think because people talk about how much they both look like me. I think it's adorable that he arrived at the Aristotelian hypotenuse of conception all by himself. ;)

Next time he asks, I'll ask what he thinks about it.

He's been at home with my wife for the last two weeks- she's on maternity leave, his preschool is closed for the university's winter break. He asked how I was able to put his baby brother into her belly. "How did he reach all the way up there?" Yesterday at the baby's two month check-up, he asked again- first time I've had to play the "I'll explain it later" card. So it begins...
