I dont feel like enough people are coming out, even with the "Out Campaign". I feel like more needs to be done to encourage people to open up, and came up with the idea to put up signs saying "Theres an atheist in your neighborhood, are you one?" and have maybe a link for them to follow..

It would anger a lot of theists, but would it be worth it? Just have everyone post up signs up on light posts through your town, and see how many people will come out...

My vehicle and my body are atheist billboards.... The tats work. The stickers on the car... not so much.
What kind of tats do you have? And people talk to you about them??
I have a couple I want to get....

Yep, they ask about this one.
I want to get one like that, and one with a t-rex eating a "fish" lol
I know this thread is dead, but I wanted to toss in my 2c... Being that I do have a couple Atheist tattoos (check my pictures) and I love to debate anyone but the young earthers (no hope for them), I know my "signs" have inspired a few and scared a few others. What ever a person believes, they are a great way to open a dialogue.
I would like to be a glaringly obvious Atheist in RL ideally but I also don't feel like picking a fight all the time with people either-life is hard enough as it is! I mean in some parts of the world we could even be killed for being an out atheist. It's absurd but we know it. It is a shame how much hatred religion causes. I love it how they mask it by making it be about "love" but we all know it's bullshit.

I like the tattoos and I love Richard Dawkins but I think his "A" symbol reminds me too much of the adultery and the Scarlett Letter than atheism.
I have decided to take baby steps. I own a business in a small conservative town. I know who you can and cant talk to. I hope eventually it will just be excepted. If the subject is brought up I speak freely about the way i feel but i don't rub it in anyones face. I have a big problem with the religious types that do that and I refuse to do that. I'm also working on a tattoo project to put my internal feelings on my exterior.
