I believe we are approaching a very touchy subject, presently. Though I do not have a believe system, I do believe 99% of those who do are truly good and decent people. Religious texts to promote violence-I do not dispute this. I also know most followers of religion gloss over those parts. To paint all religious people with the same brush is just as wrong as those who paint all non-theist monsters in history.

We must be very careful that our believes in science and reason do not lead us down the very path of ignorance and hate as those we disagree with.

Charles. What is it that religious people do that makes you dislike them so much?

I was visiting the UK in 1997 and my husband had a conversation in a 1st floor coffee shop above a Muslim shop with a guy - the guy said that he thought something was brewing - it was from 3 streets away that the London train bomber of 2006 lived - which I also happened to be in London the day that happened - very scary - I didn't take a train but relied on buses and friends.  When a newly ex Christian warns of bombing the white house - be concerned.

If Charles needs to learn anything it's some manners. Netiquette, if you prefer.

This all-guns-blazing stance is unhelpful to the point of being repugnant.

I was going for something more along the lines of, "Dude, you cannot be for real."

Not strictly-speaking Poe's Law, but its cousin.

Kyu, you may be right.  one must have 'tiger blood' to spend time in Branson, MO.

Charles, when you speak of a plan to win, I feel that's more in the Charlie Sheen sense than a rational, thought out course of action.

who is Poe and what's his #???  if he can do something about this i'll call him myself!

No, but I'd love to legalize pot, which is the number one cash crop right here in the good old USofA.

I'm with Joseph P.  Poe!
