I assume he was in the states. In England he would not get help unless he asked for it or committed some criminal offence. He would not ask for help because he did not think anything was wrong with him. Very sad, really. But I can't say I'm sorry he's gone - strong opinions are one thing, but his were something else.

In a related matter, a neighbour of mine was sent down for attempted murder because he thought his wife was a demon. So much for Catholicism then...

looks like our friend Charles has been booted from AN, and all his posts appear to be deleted.  while i don't normally advocate such extreme measures, i think it was warranted in this case.  it does make this thread read oddly...

what does it matter if it's 80, 90 or 99% - you only need 5 nutters to fly a plane into a building

If 99% of theists were murderous nutters we probably wouldn't be here chatting.
