Conflating goodness with God

Seeking ultimate justice

That sounds a lot like the sort of thing I rail against.  Absolute certainty is a worthless standard to hold a claim to.  Any but the most dishonest theists (mostly the presuppositional apologetics idiots) admit to some degree of uncertainty in everything.  You can't know anything with absolute confidence, when you come right down to it.

It's stupid to expect absolute certainty from atheists, when you don't maintain that standard for anything else.  Forget default atheism, which is sufficient to embrace the label of atheist.  I'm a strong atheist, at least in regards to the Abrahamic god.  I'm positive that the god they worship doesn't exist, to any degree that it's worth worrying about certainty.

One of the most interesting debate between Theists and Atheists (yes with a capital A) is that If the Bible/Quraan is right then God exist ,and if it was wrong then he doesn't , as If These man written books have anything to do With the God of the Universe who have been unseen since the dawn of Humanity

I am so grateful that science refused to be subdued by religion. My life with breast cancer has so much more meaning with science and the options it offers me than faith in delusions could ever have. My team of medical professionals and my team of emotional supporters have something to offer that is real and does not depend on denial of reality.
Thank you, all my atheist professionals and friends who do more than rub their hands together and make verbal noises; just so much babel in a sea of platitudes signifying nothing.
